At the very base of these earrings are a textile embedded with the loooong history of the Cordillera weavers, whose weaving patterns reflect the colorful heritage of each tribe. These fabrics utilize natural spools made from fiber and color dyes that come from plants. Weaving is usually done by the women and is one of their sources of income.
